NAMC

NAMC is the oldest minority construction trade association in the United States. Members include more than 50 Hall of Fame members and Legacy Contractor Builders and a combined annual project capacity of over a billion dollars nationally.

This 8,000sf buildout exemplifies the high-end nature of NAMC and their dedication to our United States military members and partners. This project featured a unique design of extravagant lighting, ceiling elements, unique angles, and beautiful furnishings.

The Piquette Flats

The 108k square foot Studebaker Sales and Service Building was built in 1925 shortly after the company purchased the adjacent Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, where Henry Ford famously created the Model-T. After decades of sporadic use, The Platform and MSU Endowment partnered to transform this piece of history into community housing with a commitment to attainable living.

Preserving the historic features while updating to modern comforts was paramount throughout the renovation process. Throughout the building you will find pieces of the original factory repurposed, paying homage to the building’s significance during the birth of the automotive industry.

Piquette Flats

PCI-Dailey Company is masterfully steering the transformation of the historic 411 Piquette building into the much-anticipated Piquette Flats, seamlessly blending Detroit's rich past with the vitality of contemporary urban living. This strategic redevelopment is poised to rejuvenate Milwaukee Junction, leveraging the heritage of a 1920 structure to fuel new growth and community connectivity.

The project reverently preserves the architectural integrity of a bygone era while infusing it with modern functionality. With 161 residential units and 192 parking spaces spread across an expansive 108,000 square feet, Piquette Flats is set to offer an urban living experience without parallel—where history's charm meets today's comfort.

Nestled beside the iconic Ford Piquette Avenue Plant within a National Historic District, the site's automotive legacy is unmatched. PCI-Dailey's vision is transforming a once-vacant landmark into affordable loft-style apartments, offering a unique blend of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom options that echo the building's original character while catering to modern expectations.

Piquette Flats is not just a development; it's a cornerstone for revival, offering residents a genuine loft lifestyle within a rejuvenated historic edifice. Just a stroll from the burgeoning restaurant and shopping scene of Woodward and Grand Boulevard, it's set to become a pulsating hub in Detroit's tapestry, rich with history and alive with potential.
