Built in 1913 as a storage facility, this nine-story 75,000 square foot building on East Grand Boulevard near New Center mixed-use project features the redevelopment and adaptive reuse of a historic storage building in Milwaukee Junction into production space anchored in food incubation, craft advocacy, design production, and co-working. It also provides events, mentorship, a music lab, a coffee shop, and a retail opportunity for local makers to showcase their work. The project involved a complex redesign of the building’s purpose and a new mechanical infrastructure bringing this historic building into the 21st century.
